Freemann introduces damning forensic evidence of Bondurant's blood found on Mújol's gardening gloves, but Lisa claims she has been set up. Lorna and Cisco give Kaz a copyright to start a new life elsewhere, while Mickey learns that Henry has made a deal to turn Lisa's story into a TV series. Unable to find the contract for Mújol's life rights, Mickey takes out his frustration in a phone call to Lorna. Discovering the contract missing from the files in his car, Mickey is beaten unconscious by two men in the parking garage.

The men of the Lawless Law Firm capture Kwan-dong and force him to give up evidence on Oh-joo. They then leak it to the media, who release it to the public. Jae-yi discovers that Hyung-joo is alive but that Sang-pil did not tell her. Hurt by this, she accuses him of only thinking about his own revenge.

Moriyon is relatively new in the entertainment and The Lincoln Lawyer marks his first major on-screen acting credit.
Sang-pil reveals to Yeon-hee that Oh-joo is behind the death of the former veterano. Moon-sook plots with Nam Soon-ja to cover up the evidence and later rejects it and a witness in court.
